Founded in 1910, Dignity Health - Mercy Hospital is a 229-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Bakersfield, California. Serving nearly 90,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including Level II NICU, cancer care, women’s health, and orthopedics. Positions Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of compounding, preparing, resupplying and labeling of medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. Also, responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions including: answering the phone, waiting on customers, filing orders, billing, computer operating, readying medications for delivery and other related duties.

Minimum Qulifications:

• One year experience working in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Computer skills with office automation required.
• Must be able to float to Mercy Southwest Hospital
• CA Registered Pharmacy Technician.
