The Program Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the effectiveness of the day-to-day operations of the service line program in accordance with facility policies, service line objectives, and clinical standards. Accountable for program accreditation and/or certification by regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required
  • Master's Degree preferred

Licensure

  • RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
  • Nursing Specialty Certification, preferred
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required
  • Certified Nurse Manager and Leader certification required within 6 months

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience with data analysis and preformance improvement
  • Experience with program coordination
  • Previous leadership experience, preferred
  • Requires advanced knowledge in nursing, evidence-based practice methods, and person-centered care concepts
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
