Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. As our Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will competently provide essential respiratory care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Your expertise is vital for critical respiratory interventions and patient well-being.

Every day you will perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, mechanical ventilator operation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and medical gas administration.

To be successful, you will possess advanced clinical skills in all aspects of respiratory care across age groups, meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment to patient safety and infection control, and the ability to perform effectively in emergencies.

• Respiratory Care Practitioner: CA
• AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Fire Safety within 90 Days
• Associates Of Science or Bachelors Of Science in Respiratory Care preferred
• 2 years acute care experience including, pediatrics, trauma, and ventilator management; blood gas and pulmonary function testing experience desirable; experience with extended and managed care desirable.
