Our offerings include High-Risk Pregnancy Care, Level II Special Care Nursery with a partnership with the Neonatal Practitioner Team from Seattle Children’s Hospital, 24-hr OB Hospitalists, Childbirth and Family Education Classes, Breastfeeding support both inpatient and outpatient, Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), and a volunteer doula program to provide physical and emotional support to pregnant patients both before and after childbirth.

As our National Resident RN, you will experience a dynamic and supportive residency, receiving personalized attention to foster long-term success and cross-training across our interconnected Nursing units.

Every day you will deliver individualized patient care by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, administering treatments, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and families, all while embracing varied nursing tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will actively engage in our comprehensive, evidence-based Residency Program, utilizing clinical orientation, practice, and mentorship. You will demonstrate a passion for learning and teamwork within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Required

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing upon hire and one to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program or, New graduate with completion of senior practicum in L&D, Mother/Baby unit or nursery.
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire 
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 months of date of hire 

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and One year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire 
• Previous Mother-Baby experience 
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring offered by National Certification Corporation (NCC), or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification
