Our main OR suite includes 6 operating rooms and we perform over 3,200 cases per year, including general, orthopedics, urology,  gynecology and robotics.

 

Job Summary:  

 

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

  • Policy Compliance: Adheres to all hospital, safety, and regulatory standards while staying updated on industry trends.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administers, oversees, and documents medication (topical, oral, IV, etc.) per physician orders and policy.
  • Patient Care & Assessment: Provides comprehensive, holistic care by assessing needs, implementing interventions, and planning for discharge.
  • Competence & Communication: Delivers culturally sensitive care to specific populations using effective communication tools.
  • Documentation & Growth: Accurately documents care and orders using the nursing process while engaging in professional development.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Experience with airway emergencies, (i.e. laryngospasms, airway obstruction, stridor and arrest)., upon hire and
  • Graduate of ICU residency with a minimum of six months ICU experience.
  • Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days and
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 - months and


Preferred

  • BSN and One year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire and
  • Minimum of 2 years current experience in an acute, inpatient PACU setting within the last 3 years or
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse, upon hire or
  • Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse, upon hire
