Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

 

Provide specialization in radiographic and fluoroscopic examination within the cardiac catheterization lab. Scrubbing into procedures and assisting Electrophysiologist and Cardiologist performing intervention and diagnostic studies.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of Radiology Technology Program,
  • Registered Cardiac Electr (RCES), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

Preferred

  • Acute care hospital experience
  • One (1) year of experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
