Job Summary
Provides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatients
through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the safe operation of various types of imaging
counting and computer equipment. Maintains accurate records of radioactive materials from receipt
through administration and disposal. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current
standards of practice for the unit. Provides shift leadership and support to the Imaging staff.

Associate Degree Preferred Associates Degree strongly preferred

Minimum Experience Requirements
Two years of nuclear medicine experience
Previous leadership experience preferred
Cardiac Nuclear Medicine registration preferred
License/Certifications Requirement
Credential Source Required; RT (N) Required Registered Technologist, Radiology, Nuclear
Medicine - R.T. (N)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Basic Life Support American Heart Association Required Current Basic Life Support certification required from
