Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

  • Initials accurate and ongoing assessments of physical and psychosocial problems of patient.
  • Performs appropriate and age specific triage on all patients within 5 minutes of arrival to ED including chief complaint, v.s., time and signature.
  • Assignment of level of triage as appropriate based on brief history and indicated vital signs. Performs and documents appropriate nursing history and physical admission on an ongoing basis.
  • Performs and documents age specific basic physiological condition of the patient to include; mental status, skin signs, pain level and complaint specific information.
  • Reflects psychosocial needs of the patient.
  • Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his health problem(s) and his expectations of the present hospitalization.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Currently licensed by the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum two years Acute Care Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS within 90 days.
  • Current PALS withing 90 days
  • Ability to assess patients & deliver care according to specific needs of all age groups.

Preferred

  • Emergency department experience
