Are you a highly skilled Registered Nurse passionate about interventional pain management and dedicated to improving patients' quality of life? What You'll Do:

As an Interventional Pain Clinic RN, you'll play a vital role in the comprehensive care of patients undergoing various pain management procedures. Your expertise will ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout their visit.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-, Intra-, and Post-Procedure Care: Prepare patients, assist physicians during procedures (e.g., injections, RFAs, spinal cord stim trials), and provide thorough recovery care and discharge instructions.
  • Patient Assessment & Education: Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and educate patients on procedures, pain management strategies, and follow-up care.
  • Medication Management: Safely administer IV medications, including conscious sedation, and manage prescriptions as directed.
  • Procedure Room Management: Maintain sterile environments, ensure equipment readiness, and assist with inventory.
  • Documentation: Accurately chart all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in EMR.

 

Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Degree from an approved school of nursing
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.  CPR certified.
  • Working knowledge of basic clinical skills in delivery of patient care.  Communication proficiency, time management and flexibility required.
