Job description: In collaboration with department leadership, is responsible for managing and enhancing the specimen testing processes in designated area of expertise. Applies high-level of relevant technical and leadership knowledge. Consults with laboratory leaders on technical processes. Functions in a self-directed manner. Oversees the integration of lab discipline within the hospital, ambulatory, and clinic environment. Assist in development and evaluation of test procedures, maintain an understanding of IT systems and data sources associated with lab discipline.
