Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiology Aide, you will provide essential support to the Radiology Department, ensuring efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.

 

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including assisting radiologists, technologists, and RN's with procedure preparation, maintaining clean and well-stocked work areas, managing telephone communications, assisting with patient positioning, transport, and utilizing computer systems for patient information and order management. The Radiology Aide is a key member of the team, contributing to a safe and effective environment for patients and staff while adhering to all applicable policies and procedures.

 

To be successful in this role, you'll need to prepare trays and all supplies for various procedures in accordance with established standards and procedures. Assists patients in getting ready for procedures

 

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Job Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • One year of related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Fire Safety within 90 Days

Preferred: 

 

  • Medical Assistant Course
