Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Engineer, you will provide critical technical expertise and innovative solutions, driving the design, development, and optimization of our systems and processes.

Every day you will expertly analyze complex problems, develop practical designs, conduct rigorous testing, and meticulously implement solutions, contributing essential insights and technical contributions to our projects.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding analytical skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a meticulous, results-oriented demeanor, contributing to groundbreaking advancements and sustained operational excellence.

  • Is a role model for the Hospital's Customer Satisfaction effort, i.e. demonstrates AIDET principles when interacting with customers, subordinates and colleagues.
  • Completes department training for job duties and responsibilities.
  • Reports to upper management and communicates potential problems.
  • Completes PM's properly and turns in paperwork on time.
  • Orders parts as needed for boiler plant equipment and systems.
  • Makes daily log entries. Reports and reviews them for accuracy.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a boiler operator
  • Knowledge and understanding in the safe operation and repair of steam boilers, boiler auxiliaries, generator sets, refrigeration plants and other types of machinery, equipment and systems which make up the physical plant of the hospital.
