In this vital role, you'll provide direct patient care, fostering a therapeutic milieu, and helping patients develop healthy coping skills. You'll be a role model for ethical behavior, support trauma-informed care, and assist with essential daily tasks.

High School Diploma with at least 1 year of experience as a Psych Tech or Equivalent.  PRTF only must be 21 or older.

Must be listed on the Nurse Assistant Registry operated by the North Dakota Department of Health  at the time of hire or within 90 days of employment.

Will obtain the following within six (6) months of employment:

         -Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification

         -Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting – APS- IA & NE

         -First Aid – PRTF only

BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire.  Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institude: CPR, PRO, must say “Professional Level with AED”, and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
