As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will contribute towards the delivery of quality healthcare with a concern for the well-being of those served. You will provide high-quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews, and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program.
Every day, therapy may include individual, family, couples, or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with state Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and policies and standards of care. You will meticulously assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment strategies, and guide patients through their healing journey, ensuring adherence to the highest professional and ethical standards.
To be successful in your role, you will strategically deliver high-quality patient care within the Behavioral Health Program, meticulously performing intake assessments, determining diagnoses, and developing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise in providing individual, family, couples, or group counseling, all while ensuring strict compliance with state Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and established standards of care to promote the well-being of those served.
