An associate who, under the supervision of a registered nurse, is trained to prepare, operate and maintain hemodialysis equipment and assist in the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatments.

• Works with Dialysis RNs to provide safe and effective dialysis services
• Use of general patient care and communication equipment such as nurse call pager system;
• EMR; Bed Tracking System; all equipment used to monitor patient’s vital signs, including all patient scales.
• Good communication skills including pleasant phone manner, and good patient care techniques

Required

• High School Graduate or Equivalent and Previous health care experience as a CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, etc., upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician, within 6 - months or
• Certified Nursing Assistant: TN, within 6 - months or
• Emergency Medical Technician: TN, within 6 - months or
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, within 6 - months or
• Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, within 6 - months or
• Certified Medical Assistant NHA, within 6 - months or
• National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, within 6 - months or
• National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, within 6 - months or
• Registered Medical Assistant AMT, within 6 - months or
• Registered Medical Assistant, within 6 - months or
• Cert Med Asst - MMCI, within 6 - months
