Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Wound-Enterostomal Coordinator Nurse, you will help patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs receive specialized care and education so they can achieve independence and the best possible health outcomes.

Every day you will create, implement, and modify personalized care plans. You will be expected to educate patients and their families on ostomy care, wound management, and continence strategies, serve as a consultant for the organization and community, contribute to research, and maintain accurate documentation.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of patient care standards, current treatment modalities, and be a compassionate and effective communicator.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Education program (at hire or within 9 months from date of hire).
  • One year of recent work experience in the practice of ET (WOC) nursing, demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • Licensure by the Washington State Board of Nursing required.
  • Board certification in Wound, Ostomy, and/or Continence Nursing required.
  • Current Health Care Provider BLS Certification required.
