Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Surgical Technologist, You will play a critical role in patient care, work alongside top surgeons, and participate in life-saving procedures daily.

 

Everyday you will communicate and provide assistance to physicians, patients, anesthesia, staff, family members, and visitors to ensure highest standards are met within the Operating room. 

 

To be successful in this role you must anticipate needs, colloboate with the surgical team, monitor sterile fields and set the OR up for success. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, and monitor sterile fields with the highest standards.
  • Anticipate surgeon's needs and pass instruments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with RNs on counts and ensure medication safety.
  • Actively participate in the Time-out process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant operating room environment.

$20,000 Sign On Bonus offered to eligible candidates

Job Requirements

Required

  • Must be registered on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Persons (UAP) Registry prior to start date. Must be a Certified Surgical Technician or gain your CST within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.
  • No previous experience required, other than clinical lab with schooling.
  • Ability to organize assignments and work under pressure. 

 

Preferred

  • Associate degree from an approved school of Surgical Technology preferred.
