Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Materials Manager, you will oversee daily materials management operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective flow of medical supplies and equipment. Your leadership maintains inventory integrity, supports clinical departments, and upholds sanitation standards.

 

Every day you will manage and mentor the Materials Tech team, ensuring adherence to procedures for disinfection, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies. You'll oversee inventory control, troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and collaborate with staff to meet supply needs for patient care.

 

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership, team management, and in-depth knowledge of healthcare materials management, inventory control, and supply chain logistics. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and a commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and compliance are essential.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelors upon hire.

 

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Materials Management or Accounts Payable within a healthcare organization and three (3) years’ experience in invoice resolution working with requisitioners, vendors and Accounts Payable
