Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is committed to serving the continuing health care needs of Santa Cruz County. Supported by the rich community history Dominican Hospital, our doctors provide convenient, personalized care to patients throughout the region along the full continuum of care. As a Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform patient care services in our outpatient clinics.

Success in this role means you:
- Are responsible for the performance of mammographic imaging procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and safe environment and perform patient care services that support the physician / providers practice under the supervision of the radiologists other licensed staff and Management
- You will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions
- Apply a thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist to your patient or authorized person
- Collect patient data documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the radiologist’s review
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety.
Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS.
