Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our International Advocacy Liaison, you will provide essential non-clinical support, guidance, and interpretation, acting as a dedicated advocate for international patients and their families to ensure seamless care and effective communication.

Every day you will coordinate appointments, referrals, and specialized services, resolve problematic and crisis situations, and manage financial transactions, all while ensuring regulatory compliance and addressing grievances.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional advocacy, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of international patient needs, financial protocols, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compassionate and efficient support.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to staff in the implementation of existing and new departmental policies and procedures
  • Creates an environment that encourages employee growth and development. Serve as a coach, mentor, team builder and facilitator
  • Utilizes effective communication skills with physicians, insurance companies, patients and other hospital departments to prevent potential problems
  • Collects and analyzes statistical data, identifies trends and Assists in the design of processes to improve the quality of services provided
  • Keeps informed/abreast of all technological advances to ensure the most efficient patient flow
  • Identifies accounts and determines when an account should be referred to management or prepare for placement to legal
