Lab Assistant

Founded in 1910, Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino is a 343-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital. • Practice positive patient identification and ensure proper specimen labeling
• Greet and communicate with patients and team members with professionalism and HumanKindness
• Process and organize specimens for department distribution with speed and accuracy
• Handle send-out lab testing, including packaging and documentation for external labs
• Assist with blood collection following proper venipuncture and capillary techniques (if phlebotomy is part of the role)
• Support clerical tasks and workflow needs to ensure the lab operates smoothly
• Collaborate with lab team members to resolve issues and maintain high-quality service 

• High school graduation or GED.
• Minimum of six (6) months as a laboratory phlebotomist
• California Phlebotomy Certification is required.
