CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) – Children’s Unit
CHI St. Alexius Health
Full-Time | 72 Hours Biweekly
Starting Pay: $35.38/hr + $17,500 Sign-On Bonus

As an RN in the Children’s Unit at CHI St. Alexius Health, you’ll provide compassionate, family-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment where your skills, empathy, and clinical judgment truly matter.

In this role, you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
  • Support pediatric patients and families with compassion and education
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality care, and infection control
  • Document care accurately while ensuring patient confidentiality
  • Help create a positive, healing environment for patients, families, and coworkers

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • RN license in North Dakota or compact state
  • New graduates welcome
  • BLS certification required within orientation period
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for pediatric care

Work Agreement:

  • Shift: Day/Night Rotation, 12hrs
  • Holiday/Weekend Rotating: Every other/ Every third weekend
  • On Call Expectation: As assigned
