As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will serve as a technology visionary, responsible for supporting groundbreaking neuroscience-based clinical practice and research, by enabling advanced technological platforms. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role, where you will design and lead the architectural strategy for mission-critical initiatives and advanced neuro-technology capabilities, directly serving Barrow Neurological Institute's world-renowned clinicians, researchers, and educators. You will bridge software engineering excellence with a robust enterprise architecture discipline, to accelerate the modernization of Barrow's unique and complex technological ecosystem. This encompasses highly specialized requirements for:
Clinicians: Developing intuitive tools for enhanced patient care delivery, clinical decision support, secure data
access, and streamlined workflows.
Researchers: Architecting advanced platforms for high-compute environments, complex data analysis, AI/ML
model deployment, and collaboration that accelerate discovery.
Educators: Designing innovative solutions for simulation, virtual learning, curriculum delivery, and knowledge
sharing that elevate neuro-education.
This role is not just about system architecture; it's about igniting innovation and transforming neuroscience
through advanced technology. Acting as a thought-leader, chief architect, and technical mentor, you will work
cross-functionally with neuro-clinical teams, research scientists, educators, data science professionals, and
Barrow's dedicated IT infrastructure teams. Your goal will be to build scalable, secure, and intuitive digital and high-performance computing experiences that directly impact the discovery of new treatments, the delivery of cutting-edge patient care, and the education of future neuroscience leaders.
As a member of CommonSpirit Health, with focus on Barrow Neurological Institute, you will leverage your
specialized and unique skill sets to work with other chief architects and technical leads within the broader
CommonSpirit system, to architect and deploy innovative technologies across shared, scalable platforms.
You will be an advocate for innovation, change, and clarity across both Barrow and CommonSpirit, supporting and motivating both local and system-wide teams. Assignments will include complex initiatives with direct clinical relevance, significant scientific scope, and deep organizational impact. You will be an experienced product engineering leader, championing software engineering best practices, while delivering technology products through modern cloud platforms, on-premise high-performance computing environments, and full-stack development frameworks. You will have the autonomy to make critical architectural decisions within Barrow's domain, directly influencing the selection, delivery, and adoption of the new technologies that will define the next generation of neurological care, research, and education.
