As our Medical Assistant II, you will provide essential, basic-level patient care and treatments within our dynamic Orthopedics department. You will be a key support for physicians, residents, and nursing personnel, directly contributing to efficient patient workflow and exceptional clinical outcomes.
Every day you will meticulously obtain vital signs, document chief complaints, and accurately record all patient interactions and clinically relevant findings. You will assist with patient history collection, prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments for minor procedures, and administer medications under direct physician supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Medical Assistant Certificate or have completed an accredited MA program (or a US Armed Forces medical services training program). You must possess current BLS-CPR certification and demonstrate proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively connect with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
