CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. Are you a skilled Phlebotomist passionate about patient care and teamwork? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our vibrant laboratory team and make a real difference!

What you'll do:

• Expertly collect and process blood samples from diverse patient populations (all ages!), ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Prioritize and maintain efficient workflow to meet critical turnaround times.
• Practice positive patient identification and uphold the highest standards of safety.
• Embody HumanKindness in every interaction, fostering a supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
• Assist with specimen processing, intake, and distribution to testing areas.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and collaborative laboratory.
• (Opportunity to) Assist with phlebotomy training for new team members.

What we're looking for:

• A commitment to exceptional patient care and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent venipuncture and capillary puncture skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of isolation and hand sanitization procedures.
• Familiarity with Blood Bank collection protocols is a plus!
