Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

 

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, staying updated on relevant trends and requirements.
  • Administers and documents medication accurately and according to hospital policy, following healthcare practitioner orders for various delivery methods.
  • Conducts comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, then plans, implements, and evaluates care holistically, preparing patients for discharge.
  • Demonstrates cultural sensitivity by utilizing appropriate communication tools and understanding how cultural factors impact patient care and collaboration within diverse populations.
  • Maintains professional competence by engaging in growth opportunities and meeting all mandatory requirements on schedule.
  • Accurately documents all patient care and status using the nursing process, including responses to interventions, and ensures physician orders are appropriate and executed timely.

Job Requirements

 Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

 

Preferred:

  • BSN degree 
  • 6 months recent, acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
  • One year of related work experience in an acute care setting.
  • Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit.
