Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life® Colorado. As our Manager, Nursing, you will lead the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on assigned unit(s), focusing on daily operations to achieve departmental goals and foster a high-quality care environment.

Every day you will manage human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources. You will consistently promote a positive work environment, prioritize associate engagement, and support staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills, a deep understanding of clinical nursing practices, and a proven ability to foster a positive, high-performing team dedicated to quality patient care and continuous improvement.

• Develop, monitor, and respond to a full range of financial, service, and quality indicators in all areas of responsibilities.
• Ensure appropriate staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity.
• Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals. Involve associates in decision through shared governance structure.
• Maintain compliance with operational procedures/organizational policies for the clinical activities and regulatory readiness.
• Conduct an evaluation of productivity and collaborate with finance to forecast revenue and expenses to prepare and manage the unit/department’s budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with associates, physicians, and patients.

Required

• A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
• Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
• Three (3) years RN experience
• One (1) year clinical leadership experience
• Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Must sit for appropriate board certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two (2) years of hire or transfer into the role
