Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St Francis Hospital - Interquest. St. Francis Hospital opened in 2008 to keep pace with the growing needs of the Colorado Springs' community on the north side of the city. St. Francis Hospital features 340-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit. It also serves as southern Colorado's home base for the Flight For Life Colorado air medical transport service. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Patient Access Coordinator, you will help the Patient Access department ensure smooth operations and high-quality service so they can effectively support patient care across facilities.

 

Every day you will provide daily oversight of operations and management of error, audit, and productivity reports. You will be expected to provide technical expertise for multiple system interfaces within Patient Access and act as a liaison with the Business Office, IT, and clinical staff.

 

To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized. This includes being able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and maintain meticulous records. Your ability to structure tasks efficiently will be key to your impact.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School diploma required
  • One year applicable experience
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate, preferred

Physical Requirements - Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
