Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cardiology Clinic RN you will help by being an integral part of a collaborative team, partnering with physicians and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality, holistic care for our clinic patients. 

 

Every day you will provide essential care within our supportive Cardiology department.Your day will be filled with opportunities to educate, support, and advocate for our patients, helping them navigate their health journey with dignity and respect. 

 

To be successful in this role, you must apply the nursing process to develop and execute personalized care plans that promote positive patient outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care according to established practice, protocols, policies, and the ND Nurse Practice Act. Taking vitals, performing assessments, and collecting patient data
  • Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Administering designated medications (oral, subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular), instilling eye drops, and applying topical medications as ordered
  • Educating patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and wellness promotion. Acting as a patient advocate, building trust and comfort with every patient and their family
  • Accurately documenting all patient data, assessments, and interventions in the medical record. Utilizing the nursing process to coordinate a plan of care, including referrals

 

We are offering a $20,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

 

Job Requirements

Required

  • A nursing degree from an accredited program
  • An active and valid RN license in North Dakota
  • CPR (BLS) certification current upon hire OR to be completed within 14 days of hire

 

Preferred

  • A minimum of one year of hospital or clinical nursing experience is preferred, with a strong interest or background in psychiatry/behavioral health being a plus
  • Solid basic clinical skills, the ability to remain calm and effective in various situations, and a commitment to completing nonviolent crisis intervention training within six months
  • Excellent communication skills, a knack for building positive relationships, and a deep respect for patient confidentiality
