Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide exceptional, compassionate patient-centered care within our specialized oncology team. This critical role focuses on maximizing patient satisfaction and driving positive cancer treatment outcomes, empowering both patients and their families throughout their journey.

 

To excel, you'll need robust oncology clinical knowledge, technological proficiency, and genuine compassion. Strong oncology communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning are vital for this impactful role. We seek a proactive RN dedicated to quality cancer care, embodying our commitment to patient advocacy and positive healthcare experiences.

  • Daily, you'll conduct comprehensive oncology patient assessments, perform critical risk evaluations, provide essential cancer prevention education, and expertly coordinate complex cancer care plans.
  • Your responsibilities include patient/family orientation, continuous care plan adaptation based on growth and developmental needs, and leveraging technology for stream-lined processes, ensuring optimal patient support and understanding.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • One (1) year of experience in the area of specialty. Please note: We are currently unable to train RNs without a minimum of six (6) months of acute care experience; new graduates are not eligible.
  • Current California RN License 
  • AHA-BLS (American Heart Association - Basic Life Support)
