Dignity Health Advanced Imaging, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, provides cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services at 23 locations across Redding, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, Woodland. Our team of 160 staff members work with our specialty trained and board certified radiologists to provide high quality care to our patients. The locations perform more than 175,000 exams annually with the goal of providing top quality imaging, compassionate care, and timely service with a smile.
As our Radiology Scheduler, you will play a huge role in the patient experience, as you will be the first point of contact for scheduling critical imaging appointments.
Every day you will provide prompt, accurate, courteous, and helpful phone related assistance to patients as you schedule, cancel or reschedule imaging appointments. You will also collect patient demographics, insurance, authorizations and verify eligibility, collaborate with other Imaging facility staff and Radiologists to perform all functions related to the coordination of imaging scheduling, educate patients about medication limitations, any required labs, and prepare them for other exam protocols such as food, water, contrast, etc., and will screen and collect vital medical history details from the patient and enter into the EMR.
