As our Imaging Receptionist Scheduler, you will serve as the vital first point of contact for patients seeking imaging services, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. You will play a crucial role in managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and maintaining essential administrative functions that support our Imaging Department and Cardiac Services.
Every day you will warmly greet patients in person and over the phone, accurately collecting and verifying patient demographics, insurance information, and physician orders. You will be responsible for scheduling outpatient imaging studies, providing clear prep instructions, and coordinating patient co-pays.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a high school diploma or GED and demonstrated experience in an administrative or clerical setting. Preferred experience includes at least one year in admitting or scheduling within a healthcare environment. You must have a typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with exceptional data entry speed and accuracy.
