Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor Laboratory Services, you will Supervise laboratory personnel and operations to ensure compliance and quality in accordance with laboratory work process.

 

Every day you will exercises authority over personnel decisions and is responsible for the technical and scientific oversight of the clinical laboratory department.

 

To be successful in this role, you must 

  • Supervise, coache, and review the performance of laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to relevant policies and ethics
  • Oversee designated laboratory day-to-day operations and exercises authority over personnel decisions
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes
  • Administer laboratory inventories such as supplies, equipment and consumables
  • Establish a quality control program appropriate for the testing performed and establishing the parameters for acceptable levels of analytic performance and ensuring that these levels are maintained throughout the entire testing process from the initial receipt of the specimen, through sample analysis and reporting of test results




Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences, as defined by CLIA. 

  •  

    Minimum of five years at a moderate or high complexity laboratory.

  • California:  CLS:CA
