CommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health. With more than 700 care sites across the U.S., from clinics and hospitals to home-based care and virtual care services, CommonSpirit is accessible to nearly one out of every four U.S. residents. Our world needs compassion like never before. Our communities need caring and our families need protection. With our combined resources, CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen, both inside our hospitals and out in the community.
As our Foundation Development Coordinator with our Hospice House, you will play a key role in advancing philanthropic support for the Foundation by planning and executing activities tied to major and planned gifts, while building lasting relationships with donors and prospective donors. You'll help drive a comprehensive fundraising strategy designed to grow philanthropic support and cultivate a base of loyal, consistent donors.
Every day you will collaborate with your supervisor to prepare fundraising materials and analyze financial and demographic data to guide donor strategy. You'll develop annual communications and case statements that engage internal and external audiences around charitable giving, all while operating within budget and cost/benefit guidelines. You'll also partner with the Foundation office on donor stewardship events, signage, and recognition functions, keeping customer relations front and center and staying current on fundraising initiatives to strengthen the Foundation's annual giving program.
To be successful in this role, you will work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment, maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information, and bring a results-oriented, proven track record of establishing and achieving goals, along with a superior ability to establish and grow donor relationships.
