The Emergency Department at Dignity Health Arizona General Hospial (Glendale) is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our medical campus and hospital features the most innovative uses of materials to promote patient safety, satisfaction and medical efficiency.
As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. You will manage the resources and daily activities of the department while ensuring environmental factors and support high standards of patient care. Assists in the training and development of new and existing staff members. Create and maintains an environment that is conducive to learning.
Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals. You will coordinate the activities of the unit for each shift and direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff. And you will provide patient care as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.
