Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be a central figure performing complex electrophysiology studies and related cardiac procedures, meticulously operating specialized equipment to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias. You will play a vital role in providing critical diagnostic information and therapeutic interventions that directly impact patient outcomes.

Every day, you will expertly prepare patients for invasive EP procedures, operate advanced mapping systems, conduct device interrogations, and assist electrophysiologists with ablations and implants. You will also monitor patient vitals, interpret ECGs and electrograms, maintain detailed records, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols within the cardiac cath lab.

To be successful in this role, you will combine nationally recognized certification (RCES, RCIS or equivalent), extensive EP experience, and a profound understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and arrhythmia recognition. You will demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail, thriving in a dynamic, high-acuity environment delivering advanced cardiac care.

 

Job Requirements

Required

  • Associates Other in Cardiovascular Technology or related field or successful completion of a Radiological Technologist program and one year of related cardiovascular technology work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities., upon hire
  • Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification: WA, upon hire and
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire and
  • Medical Radiographer: WA, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and
