Serving over 90,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including, emergency care, and orthopedics. • Employee has the willingness and ability to perform additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-needed basis or as determined by management.
• Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
• Consistently projects positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
• Completes all required intra-operative documentation, i.e., operative record, charge sheets, implant records, pathology slips, etc., per policy and procedure. Documents any unusual occurrence on an incident trending report.
• Assists with application to tourniquet.
• Assist with the positioning, prepping and draping of the patient or perform these independently.
  
  

Required

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• 2 years Perioperative Practice
• Registered Nurse: CA RN License
• Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS, within 90 Days

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing
• Certified Nurse Operating Room - CNOR
