As our Cardiac Monitor Specialist, you will serve as a critical guardian of patient safety, directly impacting the well-being of individuals by providing continuous observation of cardiac rhythms. Your expertise will be vital in identifying and reporting significant ECG patterns, ensuring timely intervention by nursing personnel.
Every day you will include providing continuous observation of monitored ECG patterns for all patients on telemetry. This encompasses meticulously monitoring within a designated area, maintaining close vigilance over patient cardiac activity. You will be responsible for promptly responding to all detected alarms, accurately assessing the significance of ECG changes, and reporting critical information to appropriate nursing personnel. Your role requires effective collaboration with a diverse care team, and you will consistently adhere to all policies and procedures of the department and organization, ensuring the highest standards of patient monitoring and care.
