Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurology Faculty Recruitment Coordinator, you will be an integral contributor to our operational success, providing comprehensive support to leadership and ensuring an environment of efficiency and high-quality service.

Every day, you will coordinate the Department of Neurology Chair's office activities ensuring prioritization of daily business, effective communication and, diversified and complex administrative functions with internal and external customers. 

To thrive in this critical role, you will demonstrate exceptional organizational acumen, a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to anticipating needs and delivering accurate, timely support.

 

Liaison for Chair between BNI and hospital executive and administrative staff; faculty and other medical staff; clinic operations management and staff; clinical research management and staff; BNI Foundation donors, management and staff; and neurology outreach customers; patients; and other internal/external customers. In collaboration with BBS executive team, coordinates neurology faculty recruitment site visit program across all neurology and neurosurgery subspecialties. Communicates final details and revisions to Itinerary to all participants. Oversee day(s) of site visit. Facilitates candidate Employment Offer letter and related employment documentation on behalf of Chair, and BNI senior executives.

  • Management of neurology faculty recruitment site visit program across all neurology subspecialties.
  • Develop, post, and track recruitment ads with AAN, ANA, Doximity, and other venues. Oversee recruitment ad contracts. Process recruitment ad expenses for payment.
  • Plan and facilitate initial and follow-up site visit itinerary to include site introduction announcement; 1:1 interview sessions, luncheons, off-site dinner events, off-site local University meetings; realtor and/or other activities for candidate or candidate and family member.
  • Management of guest Neurology Grand Rounds Visiting Professor lecture and site visit across all neurology subspecialties. Support Neurology Vice Chair and faculty in scheduling of guest speaker. Coordinate Visiting Professor site visit Itinerary and related details to include 1:1 meetings with faculty, basic scientists, and other staff; luncheons/dinners; off-site local University meetings.
  • Develop and manage Neurology SharePoint faculty bi-annual reporting function and processes. Reviews protocols, activities and informed consents to ensure regulatory needs are met where appropriate. Maintains databases for department or function.
  • Management of Department of Neurology Chair's office ensuring prioritization of daily business, effective communication and, diversified and complex administrative functions with internal and external customers.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors degree or a minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Job related training, documentation compliance
  • Strong computer skills

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree
  • Seven (7)+ years of job related experience
  • Seven (7)+ years of supporting senior leadership Executives
  • Physician transaction training - Hospital and physician relationships Up
