Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Market Manager of Education, you will help caregivers, leaders, and clinical teams across St. Joseph's Medical Center, St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center, and Mark Twain Medical Center develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to deliver exceptional patient care and support organizational excellence.

 

Every day you will lead and coordinate education programs, professional development initiatives, and clinical learning strategies across the three facilities. You will be expected to collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, evaluate educational outcomes, and drive evidence-based practice to support quality, safety, and workforce development.

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring leadership experience in clinical education, strong project management and collaboration skills, and the ability to inspire teams while managing education initiatives across multiple hospital campuses.

  • Creating and defining organizational education, training and development goals and objectives based on evaluation of organizational and individual needs.
  • Organizes and coordinates resources to deliver education, training and development programs Introducing and implementing most current methodologies.
  • Reviews curriculum and evaluating education, training and development programs to ensure objectives are met.
  • Local administration of the enterprise learning management system.
  • Collaborate with nursing and departmental leadership to assess hospital learning needs, evaluate clinical performance standards, and design an annual educational plan to ensure organizational priorities and hospital goals are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate site specific educators, clinical nurse specialists, and other educational subject matter experts to deliver education and development programs. 

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Master's in a related discipline/field
  • Three (3) years of education/healthcare-related experience
  • Two (2) years of work experience in a supervisory role
  • Previous direct patient care experience
  • Current state license in a clinical field in state of practice
