Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Fetal Monitoring Sonographer, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures on patients, utilizing ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures and contributing to crucial diagnostic insights.

Every day you will obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, address patient concerns, diligently maintain patient records, and expertly execute various scans, including abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetric, gynecological, carotid imaging, peripheral plethysmography, doppler wave forms, and segmental pressure studies.

To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced technical proficiency in ultrasound techniques, meticulous attention to detail, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to accurately perform and interpret a diverse array of diagnostic scans.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
  • Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
  • Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
  • Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.

Job Requirements

Required
  • Graduate from a school accredited of Radiologic Technology, , upon hire or
  • Graduate of AMA Accredited Sonography Program,, upon hire or
  • Graduate of accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and equivalent clinical experience., upon hire
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Cardiac Electr, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Vascular Specialist, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, within 12 - months and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
