Our Med Surg unit takes patients from 30 days old until death. Our staff have the unique opportunity to serve our community by taking a wide range of ages, diagnosis, and cultural backgrounds. Sticking to ratios of 4-5 days and 5-6 nights, with a tech, the Med Surg unit partners with the ICU to ensure that patients with higher acuity are moved into the ICU to ensure Med Surg care for all patients. This is unique for our region, and we are very lucky to have this. We look for people that are team players, patient focused, always looking to provide higher levels of care, and adaptability. Including swing beds, we have a total of 15 patient rooms, all which can be double bunked, however we only do single rooms.
