Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute-care, nonprofit hospital. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, heart care, cancer care, and women’s health. It is the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley.
Additionally, Northridge Hospital Medical Center has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. As our Security Officer, you will maintain the highest level of safety and security by patrolling assigned areas, diligently deterring, detecting, and investigating suspicious activity or crime.
You'll monitor electronic surveillance and hospital emergency systems, dispatch personnel by radio, and actively patrol to protect people and property, all while embodying our core values and supporting strategic quality improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional vigilance, strong observational skills, proficiency in electronic surveillance and dispatch systems, and a commitment to protecting our community while upholding our organizational values and contributing to a secure environment.
This position is represented by SEIU-SEC and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
