As a Certified Surgical Technologist at Ortho Colorado, you will provide expert support within an 8-suite surgical department that averages 450–550+ procedures monthly. As a specialized orthopedic hospital, the facility focuses exclusively on total joint replacements (hips, shoulders, knees, and ankles), spine surgery, and sports medicine. Supporting a comprehensive care continuum, the facility features 11 pre-op beds, 10 PACU bays, and 48 inpatient beds, ensuring high-quality, specialized surgical care for every patient.

Our state-of-the-art facility features a 48-bed inpatient unit, including six intermediate care beds and eight operating rooms. As our Certified Surgical Tech, you will work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN, bringing your certified expertise to keep the operating room organized, sterile, and ready for safe, efficient surgical procedures.
Every day, you will arrange and inventory sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical cases, passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed throughout the procedure. You will also assist in preparing and moving patients, along with sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment, and rooms between cases.
To be successful in this role, you will need current surgical technology certification, strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of sterile technique, and the ability to stay calm and communicate effectively as part of a fast-paced surgical team.
Maintains highest standard of sterile technique during procedure by checking package integrity, indicators and opening procedures.
Schedule- PRN- Variable days of week and start times per Surgical Volume and Current Unit needs. TBD with OR manager during interviews.
Per policy PRN requires a Min availability for 5 shifts in a 6 week schedule block and 2 holiday per year
M-F. No Call, No Nights, No Weekends.
Schedule is made every 6 weeks by the manager
No surgeries on holidays or weekends.Like a Surgery center. No weekends no nights. No Call!!
