Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.

Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.

  • Able to identify and articulate patient rights and variables affecting patient outcomes including age, ethnicity, cultural diversity, religious beliefs, physical disabilities, social and economic constraints.
  • provides care based on own beliefs system: recognizes own feelings relating to patient and family.
  • Recognizes ethical conflicts and seeks council and resources on the unit to assist in resolving ethical and clinical concerns.
  • Accurately documents all patient care activities as per documentation standards. Seeks assistance from others to further develop documentation skills.
  • Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the written plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, utilizes pathways.
  • Utilizes assessment data to identify patient care needs, to include patient education and discharge planning.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA LVN, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - BLS, upon hire
  • Expanded IV Therapy Course, upon hire


Preferred

  • Recent experience and/or previous Nursing practice
