Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Serving over 100,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, heart care, women’s health, and a family birth center. In 2025, we opened our new patient tower, Grand Tower, featuring a dramatically expanded Emergency Department and Family Birth Center that will increase patient comfort and privacy.

As our Family Services Coordinator, you will conduct comprehensive family assessments, develop individualized family plans, and provide crucial in-home and on-site case management services to enhance family stability and support early childhood education.
Every day you will manage a caseload of 35-40 families, offering family support, parenting education, and social services including referrals, advocacy, and services brokering, all while collaborating with a flexible team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong assessment and case management skills, a deep understanding of family support needs, excellent communication and advocacy abilities, and a commitment to empowering families and ensuring optimal outcomes for young children and pregnant women.
