Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Receptionist at Alegent Creighton Clinic, you will be the dynamic front office professional who orchestrates the initial patient experience, embodying our commitment to "humankindness" and operational excellence. This pivotal role involves executing a comprehensive range of administrative and reception duties with precision and autonomy, ensuring every patient interaction is seamless and supportive within our vibrant healthcare setting. You'll be central to maintaining our efficient and empathetic clinic environment.

Every day you will expertly manage inbound patient calls, performing precise medical scheduling in accordance with our practice guidelines, and warmly greeting and registering patients. Your responsibilities include the meticulous collection, verification, and updating of crucial "patient demographic data," co-pays, and insurance information. You'll also prepare patient charts, coordinate check-in and check-out processes, handle patient payments, arrange follow-up appointments, and ensure timely communication regarding appointment updates, directly contributing to our patient access services.

To be successful in this healthcare administration role, you will need a minimum of one year of experience in customer service, clerical, or business-related functions, showcasing strong organizational skills and the capacity to efficiently juggle multiple tasks. Your unwavering commitment to patient confidentiality, adherence to all clinic and regulatory policies, and embodiment of our core values are essential. We are seeking a detail-oriented, empathetic, and communicative individual eager to contribute to our medical office support team and enhance the overall patient journey.
