From primary to specialty care, as well as walk-in and virtual services, CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy. We offer more than 20 specialties and 100 convenient locations; with some clinics offering extended hours.
As our Clinic Receptionist, you will serve as the essential first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience within our fast-paced medical environment. You will play a vital role in our administrative operations by managing patient check-in and check-out processes, accurately verifying insurance information, and maintaining clinical documentation. By combining your exceptional customer service skills with organized clerical support, you will help streamline clinic workflows and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Every day you will manage a variety of administrative responsibilities, including scheduling patient appointments, answering and routing incoming calls, and handling time-of-service payments. You will be responsible for scanning medical records into our electronic health system, preparing patient charts, and conducting cash drawer reconciliations. Your daily tasks will also include confirming upcoming appointments, communicating clinic guidelines to patients, and providing ongoing support for office supply inventory and interdepartmental mail flow.
To be successful in this role, you will possess at least one year of experience in customer service, clerical, or business-related fields and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in your communication. You must be able to perform light physical duties, including periods of standing and walking, and be comfortable interacting directly with patients and their families. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is committed to patient confidentiality, adheres to regulatory compliance standards, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare setting.
