Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.

Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.

  • Interviews patient, family, caregivers, significant others to obtain information about prior level of function, home environment, family relationships, health and psychosocial history.
  • Performs client tests, measurements and evaluations as indicated for the patient’s condition.
  • Establishes measurable/functional treatment goals.
  • Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluation, age-related and diagnosis- related policies. Administers, evaluates and adjusts the treatment.
  • Monitors all patients under his/her care.

Shift: Days

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Oregon Occupational Therapist License
  • AHA BLS within 30 Days

Preferred

  • Clinical experience dealing with a broad based rehabilitation facility
