As our Certified Nursing Assistant, you will help our patients maintain their dignity and physical well-being by providing compassionate, hands-on care so they can achieve their highest level of comfort and independence.
Every day, you will manage the essential aspects of patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and maintaining hygiene. You will be expected to perform basic nursing tasks, including monitoring vital signs, conducting bedside blood glucose testing, and performing specialized respiratory care such as incentive spirometry, oxygen saturation checks, and nebulizer maintenance. Furthermore, you will play a critical role in patient mobility by assisting with ambulation, positioning, and transfers, while also ensuring a clean, safe environment through light housekeeping and laundry duties.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong observational skills to accurately report changes in a patient’s condition, a deep understanding of patient safety protocols, and the physical endurance and empathy required to provide high-quality support in a clinical setting.
NOTE: If you have not just completed a Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) training
program in the last 4 months & received WA Licensure with Department of Health or
worked as a paid Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) in the last 24 months, you must re-
train and re-test in order to be eligible to work at Bailey-Boushay House as Certified
Nursing Assistant (NA-C).
